Introduction MK2 JK series
Hi, this is Master TOM, chrysolina.
Charactor figures are becoming a trend in Japan. most of scale is 1/6-1/24. of course many modelers are enjoying with 1/12 otorcyclekits,1/24car kits... thus, If you are a Mschineller, maybe you have experience to paint 1/20, right ?
Of course you can make figures to go along with those other kits, but The recent trend is not limited to this, but also includes the creation of realistic figures that make full use of various expressions. The challenge of re-creating the "flesh and blood" is now underway.
In the midst of all this, this is Japan! Mr. Mattsuku is developing a product called It's the "JK" series. His product, which is sprinkled with fresh youthfulness, can be called a truly Japanese kawaii figure.
The point of his molding is that it is a digital prototype first of all. Therefore, even if it is a kit of small size of 1/20, delicate detail and molding of the face, even if it is a kit of small size of 1/20 Not only that, but you can even feel a fetishistic "aroma" on the accessories.
The next feature is that each one is a cut out of a "likely" natural gesture. Mr. Mattsuku's sharp aesthetic eye does not miss the moment and amplifies its charm as a product. They are being outputted. How do you cut out the "moment" when you feel even these "ordinary" movements?
And finally. With all this charm, his work has never been so straightforwardly sexy. I've never seen anything like it. Why do you end up feeling a fetish aroma in their extremely "healthy" charm? I'm sure you'll get a better understanding of that as you build and finish this kit.
Kawaii & Fetish. There is an unshakable sense of values there.
