The forest of Totoro

I am living in Tokorozawa city Saitama. About 1.5 miles from my house, there is a stage of Totoro.

Yes, this Scene, there is "Ushi-Numa" letter. It means cow & swamp. But nowadays, no cow & swamp,haha. It seems very usual city-crossing road. this is Ushi-Numa crossing.

But opposite side, it's deeply forest...I scared little this darkness...

Moved on the way, there is a Shinto-shrine in darker place...i scared. could not move on more in night time...

It might this scene i think.
