Plastic model [Scale] 1/72 The "Thunderbirds" are the official acrobatic team of the U.S. Air Force that has been using jet aircraft since its inception. Since 1969, they have selected the F-4E, the main fighter aircraft of the time, as their aircraft, and have begun powerful demonstrations both in the U.S. and abroad. However, the large F-4 was not suitable for acrobatics, and due to the soaring fuel costs caused by the oil crisis and inflation after the Vietnam War, the team switched to its successor, the T-38 training plane, after only four years. A plastic pilot figure sitting in the cockpit is included.
