This plastic model assembly kit reproduces the EA-6B Plowler, an electronic warfare aircraft operated by the U.S. military in 1/144 scale. About the actual aircraft The EA-6B Plowrer is an electronic warfare aircraft based on the A-6 Intruder ship attack aircraft. The fuselage is extended to accommodate four pilots and three electronic warfare personnel. It was also equipped with various electronic devices to perform a wide range of electronic warfare missions, such as neutralizing surface-to-air missile-guided radar, electronic jamming, and gathering enemy radio wave information. Mass production began in 1969, and unit deployment began in 1971. It was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and also operated by the Marine Corps. It participated in the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and the Iraq War, and saw a wide range of active service. A total of 170 aircraft were produced until production ended in 1991. The EA-18G, developed as its successor, was deployed in 2019. About the model.
