The aircraft carrier "Akagi" is one of the representative aircraft carriers of the Japanese Navy, and although it was initially built as the second battle cruiser Amagi-class battle cruiser, it could not be built due to the Washington Naval Treaty and was changed to an aircraft carrier in 1945. It was completed. She initially had the appearance of having multiple decks, but she was refurbished at the Sasebo Naval Arsenal to a full-deck style. In the Pacific War, she became the main aircraft carrier as one of the Nagumo MTF and participated in the Pearl Harbor attack and Indian Ocean operations. She was hit by a U.S. unit attack during the Midway Island capture operation in June 1945, and was destroyed by a torpedo of a friendly destroyer and died in the war. -Includes both the Hinomaru marking on the flight deck as a decal and a sticker for this product. -The pedestal for the exhibition comes with parts different from the normal version of the wooden deck / strip processing pattern. -Includes decals and stickers with the ship name notation attached to the pedestal. The product is based on the motif of the MI operation (Midway Island capture operation) in June 1945. Both the offshore model and the full hull model can be manufactured by dividing the ship bottom / body parts at the waterline. There are 8 molding colors, including warship color, linorium color, wood deck color, black, ship bottom color, gold, gray, and dark green. The hull is split left and right, split by a water line. Molded in a gray exclusive color that imitates the color of the warship used in the Kure Naval Arsenal. The side is divided into left and right, and the porthole and the porthole are expressed by a sharp three-dimensional sculpture. Appearances and sculptures such as fair leaders are realistically reproduced with sharp sculptures. The bottom of the ship is a one-piece part with a slide mold. The water supply / drainage port and armor thickness are expressed in detail. For the flight deck, the steel part and the wooden deck part are made into separate parts. The columns and auxiliary columns that support the flight deck are reproduced with delicate parts. The tip of the chimney is a separate part, and the black molding is used to reproduce the painting without painting, and the depth of the exhaust port is also reproduced. The bridge is a realistic model with a slide mold that is molded all around.
