It was Spitfire that fought as a main fighter of the British Air Force during World War II.
The beautiful elliptical main wing and tight body are far more refined than the contemporary fighter in both structure and aerodynamics, and this is equipped with a renowned Rolls-Royce / Merlin liquid-cooled engine as a masterpiece engine.
The prototype aircraft flew for the first time in March 1936, and the first mass production type Mk.I started deployment of troops in August 1938.
