[About the actual machine]
The set fighter Hayabusa played an active part as the main fighter of the Japanese Army in World War II. Development began in 1937, before World War II, and the prototype was completed in 1938. Although it did not reach the performance required by the Army, it was able to secure a cruising range of over 2000 km by equipping it with a drop tank. In April 1941, the test aircraft, Ki-43, was formalized as a complete fighter. The first type equipped with the Ha 25 as the engine is called the I type, and is equipped with two 7.7 mm machine guns. After that, the armament was strengthened to one 7.7 mm machine gun and one 12.7 mm machine gun. Furthermore, in Type II, the engine was replaced with Ha 115, and the propeller was also changed from two wings to three wings. And in the final production type III, the performance was improved by replacing the engine with Ha 115-II equipped with a water ethanol injection device.
Hayabusa, who had been assigned the role of the Army's main fighter since the beginning of World War II, continued to fight against many Allied pilots due to its exceptional maneuverability and pilot skill.

[About the model]
The model reproduces Hayabusa, the main fighter of the Japanese Army of World War II, on 1/144 scale. Above all, we are modeling the early type Hayabusa I type.
The shape of the aircraft is realistically expressed with panel lines. From the finished shape with a total length of 61 mm, you can see the flying figure of the falcon showing high mobility. The drop tank parts installed on the underside of the wing are also reproduced firmly.
Markings include 4 types of markings, including the 64th Flight Squadron and the aircraft belonging to Akeno Flying School. It is a marking of a natural metal aircraft that is not painted on any aircraft. The nose part is anti-glare painted, the moving blade part painted grayish green, the frame part of the canopy, etc. are prepared with decals, so after painting the parts in silver, you can easily finish by pasting the decals ..
The parts are made of Platts and a set of parts for two machines. The number of parts is reduced and it is easy to assemble, and the finish is palm-sized. It is a kit that I am looking forward to making.
