Fine Molds 1/48 The Sky Crawlers Sanka Mk. B

Copyright 2008 Hirotsugu Mori/“The Sky Crawlers” Production Committee Based on the novel by Hiroshi Mori and directed by Mamoru Oshii, “The Sky Crawlers”, the 1/48 scale plastic model of “Sanka Mark B”, which is operated by the main character in the movie “The Sky Crawlers”, is back. The distinctive appearance of the aircraft, with its pusher (propulsion) type engine arrangement (the opposite of a standard reciprocating engine arrangement) and double inverted propellers, has been realistically recreated with the supervision of Atsushi Takeuchi, the film's mechanical designer, as if the aircraft were real, which is one of the characteristics of our character model kits. The model also features gears built into the cowling so that when either the front or rear propeller is turned, the other propeller rotates in the opposite direction. *Adhesives and paints for plastic models are required for assembly. *Price and package size change reproductions.
