The type which replaced the water-cooled astronaut engine of the comet, which was suffering from lowering of the operation rate and production delay, to the Venus engine of air cooling is the type three type.
Speed ??performance declined due to increased air resistance etc. However, the ascent power and the cruising power have improved.
More than anything, reliability and maintainability have been greatly improved.
The aircraft that diverted this type III to nighttime fighter aircraft for the nighttime intercept of the bomber is a three-type type night warfare.
Utilizing the unique maneuverability and robust body structure unique to the bomb, a 20 mm machine gun is mounted diagonally upward in the rear windshield.
