Aoshima's Water Line has been renewed with more precision!

The 1/700 Waterline series renewal this month includes the heavy cruiser “Maya”, the special submarine carrier “Chiyoda”, and the destroyer “Hatsuharu” from the time of her completion in 1933! Newly designed and researched outfitting parts such as main guns, machine guns and shipboard boats. The molds are equipped with numerous sliding mechanisms to accurately reproduce the precision of the 1/700 scale. We are proud to present the Water Line series reborn with more precision.

The 1/700 scale plastic model kit of the “Chiyoda”, which was built as a seaplane carrier like her sister Chitose, and was remodeled as a special submarine carrier and aircraft carrier, has been converted into a special submarine carrier capable of carrying and operating 12 “Kou-target” submarines, which are small submarines. The parts are designed to be simple and easy to assemble and accurately reproduce. Various outfits such as anti-aircraft guns and machine guns have been newly designed and added to the kit, successfully expressing the sense of precision and intricacy of the 1/700 scale model.
