[Product Description] In 1941, following the Kamikawa Maru, the Seikawa Maru?along with the Kimikawa Maru?became a seaplane tender as part of the second batch of ships and was assigned to the fleet. After calling at Saipan, it participated in the Rabaul invasion operation. In 1943, it was converted into a special-purpose seaplane tender and assigned to the Second Southern Expeditionary Force. It was subsequently hit by enemy fire in Makassar and saw the end of the war in the western South China Sea. This kit features a parts configuration that captures the essentials, making it simple to assemble while accurately reproducing the ship. Various fittings, such as the catapult and searchlights, have been newly designed and added. It effectively conveys the precision and detail expected of a 1/700 scale model.
