Following the popularity of Popinica's “Hover Pilder,” the “Jet Pilder” returns! Features a weighty die-cast body equipped with large jet engines boasting beautiful silver plating. Retract the crimson wings and pull in the left and right jet engines to Piler On to the head of the “Invincible Champion Jumbo Machinder Mazinger Z” (sold separately)! Open the clear windshield to find a figure of Kouji Kabuto inside. Following the “Hover Pilder,” the second Popinica revival is the “Jet Pilder”! Naturally, it features the ability to combine with the head of the “Invincible Champion Jumbo Machinder Mazinger Z” (sold separately) with a “Pilder On!” Introduced in the latter half of the ‘Mazinger Z’ series as an upgraded model succeeding the Hover Pilder. Featuring Popinica specifications with extensive use of die-cast metal ? “Go!” Three large jet nozzles and the small twin nozzles on the tail fin feature silver plating. Combined with the beautifully painted red body color, this creates a luxurious appearance. Most of the body is die-cast metal. The transparent windshield can open and close. The cockpit houses a pre-painted figure of pilot Kouji Kabuto. Jet Pilder's flight form. It features a gimmick to retract both wings and the left/right jet nozzles for combining with Mazinger Z. By folding both wings backward 90 degrees for storage and retracting the left and right jet nozzles into the fuselage, the Jet Pilder becomes compact and can combine with Mazinger Z (sold separately) to form its head with the command “Pilder On!” The wings fold, and the left and right jet nozzles stow into recesses on both sides of the fuselage. Preparation complete for combining with “Invincible Champion Jumbo Machinder Mazinger Z” (sold separately) with “Pilder On!” The central jet nozzle at the rear of the fuselage acts as the switch to deploy the wings and side jet nozzles. Pulling the central nozzle rearward deploys the wings and side nozzles. Slit-like details are applied to the underside of the nose section. The left and right light units are reproduced with blue clear parts. (See Image 11) Jet Pilder viewed from the front. It features a wider fuselage than the Hover Pilder, with a more spacious cockpit. Its substantial form is faithfully reproduced in Popinica.
