To celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Great Sky Dragon Gaiking,” the “Chogokin Great Sky Dragon” is back! A new “Chogokin Gaiking” has been included, scaled down to match the Great Sky Dragon. Now you can enjoy combining it with the Great Sky Dragon! Pre-painted Dinosaur Squadron figures are also included! The Chogokin Great Sky Dragon stands approximately 200 mm tall! By scanning the original Chogokin released in 1976, we’ve faithfully reproduced the shape, plated parts, and coloring! We’ve reinforced the die-cast components! In this reissue, the Great Sky Dragon’s head?which couldn’t be removed on the original?is now detachable! You can now transform it into the “Volution Protect” spiral defense stance seen in the anime and combine it with Gaiking! This is the “Volution Protect” spiral defense stance! (See Image 10) Since the head is detachable in this reissue, you can now perform the transformation exactly as seen in the anime! It comes with a mini-sized Chogokin Gaiking (approx. 70 mm tall) that wasn’t included with the original release! We scanned the “Chogokin Gaiking” released in 1976 and faithfully reproduced its shape by scaling it down to match the Great Sky Dragon’s scale! The mini-size Chogokin Gaiking can be separated into three parts?“Great Sky Dragon Head,” “Part 1 (Upper Body),” and “Part 2 (Lower Body)”?and combined again! The “Great Sky Dragon Head,” separated from the mini-size Chogokin Gaiking, can be combined as the Great Sky Dragon's head! Here is the Great Sky Dragon combined with the mini-size Chogokin Gaiking's Great Sky Dragon Head! (See Image 16) Now you can recreate the combination gimmicks from the anime that weren’t possible with the original release! Three mecha from the Dinosaur Squadron?“Skyler,” “Bazoler,” and “Nesser”?which fight alongside the Great Sky Dragon and Gaiking, are included in micro size. They can be stored inside the Great Sky Dragon’s abdominal hatch. Each Dinosaur Squadron mecha comes pre-painted. The Great Sky Dragon’s wings are equipped with missile launch mechanisms! You can enjoy firing the missiles. The Great Sky Dragon’s tail features articulated joints. The crawler sections attached to the tail are made of die-cast metal, enhancing the sense of weight.
