From the “Underground Empire ‘Yomi’ Arc,” depicting the direct confrontation with the enemy organization “Black Ghost,” the final battle scene against the arch-enemy ‘Skar’ has been transformed into a dynamic diorama statue. The prototype was crafted by Takeshi Saito, renowned for his skill in sculpting Ishinomori characters. From Shotaro Ishinomori's ‘Cyborg 009’, the ultimate showdown between protagonist 009/Joe Shimamura and arch-enemy Skull from the highly popular “Underground Empire ‘Yomi’ Arc” is brought to life for the first time in dynamic sculpting! The prototype was crafted by Takeshi Saito of “Shonen Zepetto,” renowned for his skill in sculpting Ishimori characters. Under the supervision of Ishimori Productions, it features sculpting and detail that seem to leap straight from the manga pages, creating a form irresistible to Cyborg 009 fans. The three brains atop the three pillars towering in the background are the core entities of the “Black Ghosts.” The brains are encased in clear dome parts, with wire cords extending from the domes and coiled around the pillars. Pay close attention to the meticulously crafted background as well. A clash between cyborgs wielding the super-high-speed movement ability ‘Acceleration Device’! The sheer speed is recreated using clear effect parts. Effect parts are cleverly employed to position 009 and Skull as if suspended in mid-air, staging their super-high-speed confrontation! The serialization of ‘Cyborg 009's “Underground Empire 'Yomi’” arc began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 1966. Scheduled for release in July 2026, exactly 60 years after the serialization began!
