JR East's DC general-purpose train introduced in 2006. Based on E231 / E531 technology.
The first train was completed in September 2007 on the Keihin Tohoku Line.
Unlike the 0 series for the Chuo Line rapid train, the 1000 series for the Keihin Tohoku Line has a sky blue belt in front.
2-car set of top car + intermediate car.
The intermediate car can be made separately by selecting the roof and the end plate, without panters / one punter / 2 pants.
NEW-SG frame and sticker included.
