The Zero Model 32 was upgraded from the previous “Rei 12” engine to the “Rei 21” with a two-speed supercharger. This completely redesigned the cowling shape, significantly improving both maximum speed and climb performance. Furthermore, it featured a new wing planform characterized by cutting the wing tips by 50 cm to create a square shape, enhancing maneuverability. This change drastically altered the aircraft's silhouette, making it stand out so distinctly that Allied forces initially mistook it for a “new model” shortly after its combat deployment. This product features three-color injection molding: the fuselage, wings, engine, and propeller are gray; the cowling and landing gear are black; and the interior is yellow-green. Included decals feature the aircraft flown by ace pilot Kiyoshi Ito, who achieved 30 confirmed kills over Guadalcanal/New Guinea, alongside aircraft from the carrier Zuikaku's squadron and the plane flown by ace pilot Matsuo Hagiwari, nicknamed “Hige no Hagiwari” (Bearded Feather Cutter).
