The IJN destroyer Yukikaze was commissioned in 1940. In the Pacific War that broke out the following year, she was engaged in numerous operations and naval battles in both the East and West. While other ships of the same type were lost in battle one after another, Yukikaze suffered no serious damage and survived the Battle of Bonomisaki (a suicide attack by the battleship Yamato) at the end of the war, earning her the nickname “the lucky ship. After the war, she was handed over to the Republic of China Navy for use after being engaged in demobilization work, and there are many anecdotes about this destroyer. This product is a set of plastic ultra-precision detail-up parts “Nano Dread” series and “brass ground parts”. The parts necessary to recreate Yukikaze's appearance after the 1944 Battle of Leyte have been selected and assembled. The “Nano Dread Series” is made of plastic, so you can use plastic modeling adhesives and paints, making it easy to work with. It is much more economical than the usual product lineup.
