Plastic Aircraft Model Assembly Kit

JASDF F-15J Fighter "Hot Scramble 1984" (initial specification)

Developed as the successor to the F-4, the F-15 was first flown in the U.S. in 1972 and became the representative fighter of the U.S. Air Force for half a century during the Cold War.
The F-15J, which was knockdown/license-produced in Japan as the mainstay fighter of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force, was deployed in Japan from December 1981.
From July 1984, the F-15Js were assigned to alert missions against airspace violations by aircraft of unknown nationality, and were used in a series of highly urgent "hot scrambles" at a time of heightened tension in the Cold War.
We have designed this new kit of the Air Self-Defense Force jet fighter following the F-4EJ and F-2A/B, further pursuing the fun of assembly, and reproducing the shape/details based on our thorough coverage of the actual aircraft.
The kit is designed to be a new discovery of the form of this aircraft.
The kit also reproduces the "Iris Cover" that was installed to protect the variable nozzle of the engine and to provide rectification effect as an early aircraft in its deployment.
Markings of the 202nd (Miyazaki, Nittahara base) and 203rd (Hokkaido, Chitose base) squadrons are reproduced with decals.
