Plastic Model Scale] 1/72 In the Iranian Empire before 1978, Shah Pahlavi II (Pahlavi) purchased many ground and air weapons from Western countries with so-called "oil money" in order to gain military superiority in the Middle East and to warn the neighboring Soviet Union. The F-4D was followed by the F-4E, and in 1974, a contract was signed for the purchase of the F-14A, and between 1976 and 1978, 79 F-14As were delivered to Iran. The F-14A is still in service as of 2022. F14 TOMCAT(R) is a registered trademark of Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation and is used under license by Fine Molds Corporation.
