Details
The Israeli Air Force, which introduced the F-15 in 1975 following the U.S. military, imported a total of 71 F-15A/B/C/D models and nicknamed them BAZ ("eagle" in Hebrew). The F-15 "BAZ" is said to have shot down 40 Syrian aircraft in an air battle on the Bekaa Plateau in 1982, and photos released in recent years show the aircraft with its kill mark. The kit reproduces the aircraft as it appeared around 1982.
