Fine Molds 1/72 Israeli Air Force F-4E Kurnass

The establishment of the State of Israel after World War II led to instability in the Middle East. After the Third Middle East War in 1967, Israel was no longer able to receive arms support from France, and the United States instead announced its support and sent 122 F-4E aircraft to the country. In 1973, the Fourth Middle East War (Yom Kippur War) broke out, and in the early stages of the war, the Israeli army was overwhelmed by the Arab coalition forces, but the F-4E, named Kurnass ("hammer" in Hebrew), was engaged in ground attacks and contributed to the ground forces' counteroffensive. During the war, the F-4Es were credited with 85 downed aircraft.
