Plastic Ship Model Assembly Kit Akebono is the 18th ship (the 8th ship of the Type II destroyer) of the Special Type Destroyer (Fubuki Type) that shook the world. After entering service in 1931, she was mobilized for the first Shanghai Incident, participated in the Hangzhou Bay Landing Operation during the Sino-Japanese War, and took part in the Battle of Surabaya, the Battle of the Coral Sea, the Battle of Leyte and many other operations during the Great War. Akebono has been sculpted in the form in which many anti-aircraft machine guns were added in 1944 (Showa 1944). In addition, the bowl-shaped air intake and machine gun stand at the base of the second chimney, which is also a characteristic of the Akebono, will be reproduced in a new mold.
