Revived with a package redesign! Messerschmitt Bf 109 Product Number LW02 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4 Trop “Marseille” The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main fighter aircraft of the German Air Force during World War II. Among the many improved models, the F-4 variant demonstrated its performance across all battlefields, from the Eastern Front in Europe to the scorching North African Front. In particular, the aircraft deployed in North Africa featured a “Trop” tropical specification, with sand filters installed on the intake to prevent the engine from sucking in sand during takeoff and landing, as part of measures to cope with the harsh environment. Hans-Joachim Marseille, the legendary ace who flew this F-4 and shot down 151 aircraft in the skies over North Africa. His remarkable achievements and exceptional skills earned him the nickname “The Star of Africa,” and this kit faithfully reproduces his beloved aircraft with four different markings. The structure allows for the reproduction of the exposed engine on the upper part of the fuselage, and the distinctive sand filter has been separated into a separate part. The legendary aircraft that soared through the desert skies and the story etched by its pilot. Please assemble it with your own hands. 46 parts, completed length 126mm, wingspan 138mm
