The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main fighter aircraft of the German Air Force during World War II. The G-2, an early variant of the G model?the most mass-produced in the series and commonly known as the “Gustav”?was deployed around the summer of 1942. Equipped with the more powerful DB605A engine, this aircraft fought valiantly on various fronts to maintain the status quo for the Third Reich as the tide of war began to turn against Germany. This kit allows you to recreate the upper nose section with the engine exposed. Markings are included for the aircraft flown by ace Gunter Rall, who recorded a total of 275 aerial victories, and Anton Hafner, who recorded 204 aerial victories.
