The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the German Air Force’s first all-metal single-seat fighter; it served as the mainstay fighter through continuous improvements from the Spanish Civil War until the end of World War II, with a total of over 33,000 aircraft of various models produced. The F-4 variant, equipped with the new DB601E engine and featuring a 20mm in-shaft cannon, can be considered the culmination of the F-series and produced numerous ace pilots. This kit allows you to recreate the upper nose section with the engine exposed. The markings included are for an aircraft belonging to JG3, the aircraft flown by super ace Bulkhorne (who logged 1,104 sorties and 301 aerial victories, the second-highest total in history), and the aircraft flown by Frank Riesendahl, an expert in ship attack. Series Name 1/72 Scale WWII German Air Force Aircraft
