The bridge of the battleship Yamashiro, the tallest Japanese battleship, is reproduced in 1/350 scale! The battleship Yamashiro was built as the second ship of the IJN class battleship Fuso, the first Japanese battleship, and entered the Pacific War period after many performance improvements and refits, and sailed in October 1944 to oppose the US invasion of Hishima, and died after the battle. The bridge of the Yamashiro had a rounded command post and more open struts than the Fuso, and it had a distinctive shape with a rangefinder support structure similar to that of the battleship Haruna. The product is an unpainted kit requiring adhesive assembly and painting. This product is based on the existing 1/350 scale Battleship Yamashiro mold. The product is modeled after the No. 21 electric search was put down around the first half of 1944. The main parts of the bridge are molded in gray color to imitate Yokosuka Naval Arsenal color. The bridge window and searchlight are clear molded parts. A pedestal for display and a sticker with the ship's name are included. The model includes the range from the top deck to the top rangefinder and forward to the second turret connected to the shelter deck. Truss/tripod structure and each deck is stacked and assembled in the same style as the actual structure. The shelter deck is delicately sculpted to represent the wooden deck. The Type 89 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft guns on the shelter deck are sculpted in a 6-part configuration unique to the 1/350 scale. The 25mm machine guns on the front and rear of the bridge are 1/350 scale and consist of three parts, with adjustable elevation angles. Five windows are reproduced with clear parts: the compass bridge, the lower lookout post, the battle bridge, the target station, and the main gun command post. The bridge and other floor surfaces are sculpted with a strip pattern. Multiple rattles are provided to connect each layer, all in separate parts. The 4.5 meter rangefinder can be fixed at any angle. The wing of the bridge is sculpted with a light hole structure. Binocular telescope parts are provided to increase the detail of the rangefinder and battle bridge. The rangefinder indicator structure truss on the rear of the bridge is reproduced with engravings of light holes and other detailed parts. Molded parts are available in three colors: gray (Yokosuka Naval Arsenal color), transparent color, and black for the base parts.
