New 1/350 scale lineup of “Zuikaku” at the beginning of the Pacific War! (Structure and specification features) This is an unpainted kit that requires adhesive assembly and painting. Scale is 1/350. (Product Features) The modeling and shape reproduction that only a large scale model can provide are appealing. The motif is based on the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor that started the Pacific War and after that. The electric search and additional machine gun have not been installed, and can be reproduced in an aspect close to the appearance at the time of completion of construction. Unlike the 1944 version, the additional machine gun position is not installed at the aft of the bow. The hull is a one-piece structure with port and starboard sides. The porthole electric circuit and numerous porthole windows are reproduced with delicate sculpture. The flight deck is a one-piece molded part with finely sculpted wooden deck lining, non-slip steel deck, and expansion joints. The girder structure behind the flight deck is a separate part for a three-dimensional representation. Elevators and wind shields are provided as separate parts. The edges of the flight deck are delicately sculpted with a split pattern. The anchor deck and short boat deck are delicately sculpted with a non-slip split pattern. The chimney is a two-part structure with the upper and lower parts pasted together, and the parting line is set in a position that is not easily noticeable. The bridge air defense command post is lined with separate binocular telescope parts that increase the sense of precision. The model comes with 9 aircraft, 3 each of Zero fighter 21/999 bomber/97 attack, and the color is transparent. The sliding stop barriers and arresting wires are included with special photo-etched parts. Bow and stern anchor chains are metal chain parts included. Paper stickers are included for the signal flag and the flag of war. The product is an unpainted kit requiring adhesive assembly and painting.
