Snap-fit assembly allows you to assemble without using any adhesives. （Product Features) The model is 1/200 scale and is approximately 18cm in length when completed. The gray color of the model is a reproduction of the Kure Naval Arsenal color, which is known as the warship color. The product is based on the final form of the Yamato class battleship “No.1 Yamato” in 1945. The bridge is equipped with a No. 21 and No. 22 electric searchlight. The upper watchtower has been enlarged, and the rear of the ship has been fitted with a manning station. The signal flag deck has been extended, and a machine gun firing system has been added. Rangefinder and air defense command post The shape of the messenger station, which was revealed during Musashi's undersea exploration, was presumed to have been similarly equipped on the Yamato at the time, and was installed. The light window on the top of the messenger station and the entrance/exit hatch on the side are reproduced. The unique curved surface of the exterior is reproduced from the remaining drawings. The front edge of the air defense command center is covered by the cover that was revealed during the Musashi undersea survey. Included as a bonus part that needs to be glued. The center of the cover has a window (hollow) that may be a compass, and a notch to avoid a binocular telescope is also included. The lens of the 15-meter rangefinder is reproduced with white molded parts. The 2-kilometer signal light post is accurately reproduced in parts to show how it is shifted to the starboard side. (The antenna pole for the azimuth measurement antenna originally rises from the vertical plane of the rangefinder, but due to mold restrictions, it has been omitted from the horizontal plane.) The wall of the tower supporting the rangefinder is reproduced with more ribs, which were strengthened by the lessons learned from the Musashi rangefinder falling off, and the hatch on the starboard side is also reproduced. The hatch on the floor behind the air defense command post is accurately reproduced in convex mold from the remaining drawings.
