Battleship Mutsu was completed in 1918 as the second Nagato-class battleship.
The main gun was equipped with the world's largest 40 cm gun at that time, and was the new capital ship of the Japanese Navy.
By the time of the Pacific War, he was preparing for the upcoming war against the United States.
After the start of the war, air power became the main force of naval battles, and Mutsu often waited in the inland sea, and sank in 1943 due to an unexplained explosive storage explosion.

The product is finished in a style in which the reduced and deformed shape features are condensed with the motif of the battleship Mutsu at the end.
-Molded parts are composed of colored parts of warship color and ship bottom color.
-Since the design is divided into the hull and the bottom, it can be either an offshore type or a full hull type.

The characteristic parts found in real ships are firmly three-dimensionalized.
-The hull has a one-piece structure that integrates the left and right sides with a slide mold to reproduce the chunky shape that is characteristic of battleships.
-The anchor is made into separate parts to give it a unique shape, and the porthole is realistically expressed including the eaves.
-The aviation work deck reproduces the linoleum holding metal fittings by engraving.
-The difference in the shape of the bridge from Nagato is accurately reproduced with special parts without the electric probe installed.

-The upper deck expresses the wooden deck with solid carving. It is a sculpture with a depth that is also suitable for adding stains when reproducing paint.
-The wooden deck can be easily expressed with the attached sticker, and the wood grain pattern is realistic because multiple shades are used.
-Three-dimensional construction such as rails on the aviation work deck and linoleum floor.

-The 40 cm main gun and 12.7 cm high angle gun have a muzzle by adopting a slide mold, and can be finished in a realistic barrel.
-The main gun has different parts depending on whether or not a rangefinder is installed.
-The main gun can change the turning angle.

-The bridge is a stacking type, and the linoleum floor and the wooden deck floor are reproduced with stickers.
-The upper part of the bridge is enclosed with parts dedicated to the land that are not equipped with an electric probe.

-Comes with a deformed carrier-based aircraft similar to the ships from the beginning of the war.
-The carrier-based aircraft includes the "Nakajima E8N surface reconnaissance aircraft", which allows you to express a different appearance from the sister captain Nagato.
-The molding color is dark green and one machine is included.

Includes special etching parts that replace and refine modeling parts that are difficult to reproduce with injection parts.
Painting is required because it is unpainted and uncolored.

-Records accessories that are impossible with plastic parts, such as general handrails on the side and catapults with a frame structure.
-Includes parts replacement parts such as bridge window frames, directional detection antennas, and wireless antenna columns.
-Includes additional expressions such as stern signal lights, 25mm machine gun sights and bulletproof plates.

Molded parts consist of all three colors.
