The 1/72 scale model of the regular troops, the backbone unit of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force! Product Outline This product is designed to be used together with other vehicles in this series such as “Light Armored Mobile Vehicle”, “1/2 ton Truck”, and “High Mobility Vehicle”. The product can be used as a base for figures in various situations by modifying, adjusting, and devising. Product Features Parts are divided into 4 blocks of “head, arms, body, and legs” to represent realistic shapes and wrinkles of combat uniforms. The figure is 1/72 scale, but features detailed details such as ammunition belts and shoelaces, as well as the rifle carried by the figure. Types The ground version is mainly for shooting, with the rifleman on one knee and running, and the regulars holding a Type 01 light MAT. The figure is a rifleman standing on one knee and carrying a rifle. Eight figures in one-kneeling position carrying rifles, eight figures in running position carrying rifles, and three figures in shooting position of Type 01 light MAT. Detailed specifications The head is equipped with a Type 88 steel cap, and each posture is made of dedicated parts in order to express the detailed head direction and angle. Arms, body, and legs are parts dedicated for each posture and equipped with bulletproof vests. The figure depicts a member firing a Type 01 light MAT from the upper hatch of a light armored mobile vehicle. (Y runner) Unlike the above combination type, this runner is made of 5 exclusive parts for reproduction. The Type 01 Light MAT has separate parts for the launcher tube and base, and can be painted separately. A 7mm square 1mm thick base is included to make the figure stand on its own. The back of the base has grooves that can be cut as necessary. Decals are included to help with painting and coloring. Newly produced decals of the camouflage pattern used in the current camouflage uniforms are included. The decals are 50x45mm in size and can be cut out and utilized as needed. The camouflage pattern is a scaled-down version of the actual pattern, but with some adjustments to make it look better on the model. Molded parts are in a single gray color.
