Plastic model
[Scale] 1/700
First release: Late February 2011
The former Japanese Navy aircraft carrier was completed in 1941, participated in the Pearl Harbor attack, the Rabaul capture battle, and the Coral Sea battle, and sank in the 1944 Battle of the Philippine Sea by a US submarine.
The kit has a total length of about 36.7 cm and reproduces the initial type (at the beginning of the war) like 1/350. We aim for the same detail as 1/350 scale on 1/700 scale. Taking advantage of the experience of making aircraft carriers in Akagi, we will sharpen the refreshing image and overall proportions on the deck.
