Unryu was completed in August 1944. The first ship of the Unryu-class aircraft carrier.
She was urgently built in the shipbuilding plan of the "Showa 16 Wartime Rapid Construction Plan".
Because of this, she takes only about two years from the start of construction to the completion.
She departed on December 7, 1944 for transport purposes, not as an aircraft carrier, but was sunk by a torpedo.
