Soryu, a part of the 1st Mobile Fleet, is now available in three different configurations: at the beginning of the war, in 1938, and at the time of the MI operation, with new parts added! The aircraft carrier Soryu was built after the Ryu Sheung, and was completed in December 1937 at the Kure Naval Arsenal as a well-balanced medium-sized aircraft carrier with a displacement of 15,900 tons, a length of 227.5 meters, and a speed of 34.5 knots, without being restricted by disarmament treaties. After entering service, she participated in the Second Sino-Japanese War, and in the Pacific War, she took part in the attack on Pearl Harbor at the beginning of the war, supported the invasion of Wake Island, and fought in the Indian Ocean and other various theaters of war. The motif of this product is based on the appearance of the ship in 1938, soon after its completion, and in 1941 at the beginning of the Pacific War. The product is based on the appearance of the ship in 1941 when it was first completed, and in 1941 at the beginning of the Pacific War. Newly designed parts are provided to unify the differences in the reproduction of equipment, etc., depending on the time of product release, and some parts are also divided in consideration of painting work. The 12.7cm anti-aircraft gun A-1 is subdivided into 4 parts, and the modeling resolution has been improved from the existing 2 parts. The 12.7cm anti-aircraft gun A-1 Kai-2 with soot shield is subdivided into 4 parts, and the modeling resolution has been improved. The 9-meter cutter on the short boat deck has been made into two parts for painting. The 12-meter inner gunboat has a canvas and wheelhouse/machine room canopy as separate parts for painting. Each part is painted and assembled and glued afterwards. Newly prepared chrysanthemum crest on the bow. The boat body and the floor of the loading area are separate parts in a 3-part configuration, and can be assembled after painting, eliminating the need for masking. The 12-meter inner gunboat mount mounted on the stern is molded with uneven shapes and light holes for a more precise modeling. Two types of flight deck markings are prepared for 1938 and 1941, and the red identification circle for the MI operation in 1942 is also included. Decals with the aft ship's name (in warship colors) have been added. The Type 96 25mm machine gun is now standardized as a two-part part that reduces painting/separation work. The ship's hull is a one-piece structure with port and starboard sides, and features a lower bow deck than the Hiryu, etc. are reproduced with special parts. The porthole windows and the overhang of the ventilation channel on the port side of the ship are all one-piece parts, but they are made to look three-dimensional. The flight deck is a single-piece structure with delicate wood deck, expansion joints, gutters on all sides, and eye rings on the steel deck, all of which are delicately sculpted. Elevators and wind shields are provided as separate parts. The anchor chain deck and short boat deck are delicately sculpted with non-slip split patterns and linoleum hold-downs. The chimney is a two-part structure with the upper and lower parts attached to each other. Strip patterns on the floor, such as the high-angle gun turrets, are represented by detailed sculptures. Binocular telescope parts are included on the bridge as separate parts to increase the sense of precision. Five models of 17 aircraft are included, and the color is gray. Four each of Type 96 fighters and Type 96 bombers are included for 1938. The shipboard aircraft for 1941 and after are three each of Type Zero fighter Type 21, Type 99 fighter-bomber, and Type 97 fighter-attack aircraft. The 25mm machine gun is a 2-part structure for precision modeling and easy painting. Molded in gray color for main parts, bottom plate, shipboard aircraft, and machine gun parts. Three types of decals are included. One decal is included for marking shipboard aircraft. Two general-purpose decals are included for the aft ship's name and the white lines on the deck props. Includes decals for flight deck markings, warship flags, and the flight deck/allied identification mark (Hinomaru) used during the MI operation in June 1942. The product is an unpainted kit requiring adhesive assembly and painting. The scale is 1/700 and it is an offshore model not including the bottom part of the ship. The product is composed of conventional (Special Series) molds and newly designed additional parts. Included contents Runner x46 Assembly instructions x1 Decal x4 Please note that colors may look different from the actual product due to monitor and image resolution issues.
