New parts have been added to the first ship of the Hibaka class aircraft carrier "Hibaka", which has a unique shape as a merchant ship converted aircraft carrier! The product is based on the motif of the appearance at the time of the Battle of Mariana / Operation A in June 1944. Reproduce the shape features that are different from the time of completion, such as the porthole window that was blocked as an unsinkable measure, and the machine gun seat that was strengthened from the time of completion. Newly designed parts are available to unify the differences in the reproduction of equipment, etc., depending on the time of product release, some parts are also divided in consideration of the painting work. I express it by delicate sculpture than the conventional attached parts such as the base of the insulator for fixing the element of the No. 21 No. 6 type electric search for the bridge part, the front side. [BB] No. 21 electric probe for the rear of the flight deck, such as the base of the insulator for fixing the two-stage element is expressed with a more delicate engraving than the conventional attached parts. [MM] The canvas and wheelhouse/mechanical room canopy of the 12-meter inner gunboat are separate parts to allow for painting. Each part is painted and assembled and glued afterwards. The 3-part configuration has the main body of the boat and the floor of the loading section as separate parts, and can be assembled after painting, eliminating the need for masking. [PP] The 12-meter inner fire launch can be expressed without canvas. The base of the boat is molded with uneven shapes and light holes for a more precise molding. The chrysanthemum crest on the bow is newly prepared. A pair of port lights, which have been omitted from the molding, are provided as additional parts. Decal with the name of the aft ship (in the color of the warship) has been added. The Type 96 25mm triple and single machine guns are now standardized in a two-part configuration, which reduces the painting/separating work required. Four historical models (Zero-sen Type 52, Type 21 (bombardier), Type 99 Bakuhaku Type 22, and Tenzan ship attack) are included. The 9-meter cutter is made of two parts to allow for painting, and the trestle is made of separate parts, allowing you to choose between a molded deck or a molded deck. The ship's hull is divided into left and right sections to reproduce the rounded shape unique to merchant ships. The porthole windows on the porthole side are precisely modeled in both closed and unclosed state in each part. The porthole windows on the porthole side are sculpted concave, and the eaves are sculpted convex. The anchor chain deck at the bow has a non-slip strip pattern, bollards, hawser reels, and anchor chain sculpted in three dimensions as a single piece. The flight deck is carved of wood and consists of two parts from bow to stern. The front end of the flight deck has a special part for each of the flying hawk and the falcon. The front end of the flight deck is specially designed for both the flying hawk and the falcon, with the flying hawk having a larger radius at the front end. The elevator can be assembled in either the raised position or lowered into the hangar. The truss structure on the aft side of the flight deck is sculpted in three dimensions. The crane on the flight deck is in the retracted state and the crane is in the upright state. The bridge base is a one-piece molded part with sculptures on five surfaces using a slide mold. The chimney, integrated with the bridge, is a split left and right part, and the steam dump pipe and prop are detailed with separate parts. The funnel caps are "pulled off" and molded with a sense of precision. Binocular telescope parts are included on the bridge (air defense command center) to increase the sense of precision. The port side gun emplacement and machine gun emplacement are separate parts, and the strips on the floor are sculpted in detail. The floor of the gun emplacement is partially covered with planks, and the thickness and pattern of the planks are reproduced with engravings. The port side outfitting, including the radio aerial pole, landing guidance lights, and landing lights, is made up of a wide variety of separate parts. The 25mm triple machine gun is precision molded and comes standard in a two-part structure for easy painting. The ship-borne aircraft are 4 types at the time of the Battle of the Mariana in June 1944, a total of 16 aircraft are included. The included shipboard aircraft are four each of the Zero Fighter Type 52 / Zero Fighter Type 21 (bombardment) / Type 99 Bakuhatsu Type 22 / Tenzan ship attack, molded in gray color. Four Type 52 Zero fighters are included, and the windshield and propeller are separate parts for painting. Four Type Zero Fighter Type 21 (bombardier) are included, and both wing tanks and 250kg bombs under the fuselage are separately reproduced. Four Type 99 bombers are included, Type 22 with enlarged dorsal fins and canopy shape. Four Tian Shan surface attack planes are included, and their characteristic 4-wing propellers and 250kg bombs suspended under the fuselage are separately reproduced. Molded in gray color for the main parts, bottom plate, aircraft, gun parts, etc. Three types of decals are included. One decal is included for marking onboard aircraft. One decal is included for the white line of the stern name and prop. One decal is included for the flight deck markings and the warship's flag. The product is an unpainted kit requiring adhesive assembly and painting. The scale is 1/700 and is a marine model not including the bottom of the ship. The product is composed of conventional (special series) molds and newly designed additional parts. [Included] Runner x41 - Assembly manual x1 - Decals x3 Please note that colors may look different from the actual product due to monitor and image resolution issues. (From Fujimi Models website)
