One of the "Big Seven" ships, the Nagato class battleship No. 2 "Mutsu" is now available with new parts! The product is based on the motif of the appearance of the second battleship of the Nagato type "Mutsu" from December 1941 (at the beginning of the war) to June 1943 (at the end of the war). Newly designed parts are available to unify the differences in reproduction of equipment, etc. depending on the time of release of the product, some parts are also divided in consideration of the painting work. The 12.7cm anti-aircraft gun A-1 is subdivided into 5 parts, and the molding resolution is increased from the existing 2 parts. The 9-meter cutter is made of two parts to allow for painting, and the base is provided as a separate part, allowing you to choose between the deck integrated mold. (except for some parts). For the 11-meter inner gunboat, the canvas and wheelhouse/mechanical room canopy are separate parts for painting. Each part is painted and assembled and glued afterwards. The 12-meter launch can be rendered without the canvas. The ship's trestle is molded with uneven shapes and light holes for a more precise molding. Newly prepared chrysanthemum crest on the bow. Port lights are newly prepared for additional expression in parts that have been omitted so far. The decal of the name of the aft ship (warship color) and the white line of the mast are added. Decals include military flags, the Japanese flag, and markings of shipboard aircraft. Three sizes of flags are provided. Included are 1/700 scale versions of the actual 10-width, 6-width, and 3-width flags. Included are the sunburst and the identification band (yellow band) of the ship's aircraft, including the sunburst without the white border of the later stages of World War II.
