New parts are additionally enclosed in the characteristic “Amagi, the second ship of the Unryu type” that simplified construction among mass-produced medium-size aircraft carriers during the war! The product is based on the motif of the figure at the time of completion of construction in August 1944. Features that differ from the first ship Unryu, such as the rear of the bridge has been enlarged, rectangular machine gun seat for simplification of construction is reproduced. Newly designed parts are available to unify the differences in the reproduction of equipment, etc., depending on the time of product release, some parts are also divided in consideration of the painting work. No. 13 electric probe is a new sealed part that is sculpted expression to the truss structure, the aerial part also performed shape expression. The No. 21 Type 6 electric probe for the bridge section and the base of the insulator for fixing the element on the front side are more delicately sculpted than the previous included parts. The 12.7cm anti-aircraft gun A1 Kai-1 has been subdivided into 6 parts, and the molding resolution has been increased from the existing 2 parts. The 9-meter cutter is made of two parts for painting, and the trestle is made of separate parts, which can be selected from the deck integrated molding. The 12-meter inner gunboat has separate parts for the canvas and wheelhouse/mechanical room canopy for painting. Each part is painted and assembled and glued afterward. The 3-part configuration has the main body of the boat and the floor of the loading area as separate parts, and can be assembled after painting, eliminating the need for masking. The 12-meter inner fire launch can be represented without canvas. The base of the boat is molded with uneven shapes and light holes for a more precise molding. The chrysanthemum crest on the bow is newly prepared. A pair of port lights, which have been omitted from the molding, are provided as additional parts. Decal with the name of the aft ship (in the color of the warship) has been added. The standard specification for the Type 96 25mm triple machine gun / single machine gun is a two-part configuration, which reduces the painting/separation work. Four models (Zero-sen Type 52, Type 21 (bombardier), Type 99 Bakuhaku Type 22, and Tenzan ship attack) are included, six of each. The hull is divided into left and right sections. The porthole windows on the porthole side are reproduced in a reduced number due to war lessons learned. The anchor chain deck of the bow is a single piece with anti-slip strip pattern, bollards, hawser reel and anchor chain expressed by three-dimensional sculpture. The flight deck consists of one part, and the elevator is a separate part. The surface is sculpted with various shapes such as airplane mooring rings, landing brake cables, and expansion joints. The wind shield is sculpted on the flight deck. The Yinken Type 21 electric searchlight and two submarine searchlights on the flight deck are selectable between retracted and deployed states. Elevator can be assembled in ascending or descending state. The truss structure on the aft side of the flight deck is sculpted in three dimensions. The crane on the flight deck is in the retracted state and the crane is in the retracted state. The bridge base is a one-piece molded part using a slide mold. The chimney is a top and bottom split part, and the inner conductor plate is detailed with a separate part. The funnel caps are molded with a sense of precision in a “detached” state. Binocular telescope parts are included on the bridge (air defense command center) to increase the sense of precision. The machine gun and gun turret on the port side are separate parts, and the strip pattern on the floor is represented by detailed engraving. Machine gun and gun sponsons are reproduced with finely molded parts. Radio aerial posts, landing lights, and other port side outfitting items are reproduced in a variety of separate parts. The 25mm triple machine gun is precision molded and comes in a two-part design for easy painting, and includes standard 2018 mold parts. Four models of aircraft are included, six of each, for a total of 24 aircraft. The four models are “Zero fighter 52 type”, “Zero fighter 21 type bombardment”, “Comet”, “Tenzan” aircraft owned by the 601st Air Force, which existed as a ship-based unit after the completion of the construction. Four Type 52 Zero fighters are included, and the windshield and propeller are separate parts to allow for painting. The Type Zero fighter Type 21 (bombardier) comes with 4 planes, and both wing tanks and 250kg bombs under the fuselage are separately reproduced. The Comet Type 12 bomber has a windshield, propeller and 60kg bombs as separate parts for easy painting. Four Tian Shan surface attack planes are included, with their characteristic 4-wing propellers and 250kg bombs suspended under the fuselage as separate parts. The main parts are molded in light green color for anti-submarine camouflage paint. The main parts are light green for anti-submarine camouflage coloring, and the machine gun parts are gray. Two types of decals are included. One decal is included for marking the camouflage pattern on the flight deck and the onboard aircraft. One decal is included for the white lines on the stern name and prop.
