Fujimi 1/700 Special Series No.022 EX-1 Japanese Navy Battleship Yamato (1945 / Operation Ten-Ichi-Go) with Etched Parts japan NEW

The Battleship Yamato, the symbol of the Allied Fleet, is now available with etched parts! The product is based on the motif of the last sortie to Okinawa in April 1945. Half of the secondary guns have been removed and the 12.7cm anti-aircraft guns and 25mm machine gun have been reinforced. The bridge is fitted with a No. 21 electric probe, a No. 22 electric probe on the side of the bridge (after relocation), and a No. 13 electric probe on the aft mast. The ship's hull is composed of the port and starboard sides and the upper wooden deck. The porthole windows, a characteristic of the later stages of the war, are molded convex to show them closed. The wooden deck is represented by convex molding. Molded parts including hull and bottom plate are gray in color. The bridge and chimney are laminated on both sides. The bridge and smokestacks are laminated on both sides. The main gun has the barrel and canvas in one piece, and the elevation angle is fixed at the mooring position. The secondary guns are only two guns that were reduced by refurbishment, and the turret and barrel are integrated parts. The 25mm triple machine gun (without shield) comes with both conventional molded parts and precision molded parts for 2018, making it possible to choose. The 25mm three-arm machine gun with shield has two options for the barrel elevation angle: high elevation angle or in the engaged position. The machine gun seat on the main gun canopy and the machine gun seat added to the stern are reproduced with dedicated parts. Two types of water reconnaissance planes are included: a Type Zero observation plane and a Type Zero (three-seater) water reconnaissance plane. Molding color of the aircraft is gray.
