The Jimny JB64 with firefighting mounts deployed at the Shida Fire Department is reproduced with new mold parts! The JB64 is the fourth generation of the Jimny, the current model introduced in 2018. Unlike the previous JB23, which had a curvilinear appearance, the new JB64 has a square body that seems to be even more reminiscent of the previous/second generation Jimny. The ladder frame, rigid-axle suspension, and other mechanical aspects were inherited from the previous generation, and the new model offers high off-road drivability and improved on-road driving performance. The XC, XL, and XG are available in three grades, from the top to the bottom, in several monotone colors, with the XC only available with a two-tone black top. The Shida Fire Department in Shizuoka Prefecture uses the Jimny (XG) as a base for its “Shida North PR” firefighting trucks.
