Flight deck parts with complex camouflage patterns printed and colored are enclosed! (Structure, Specifications and Features) The kit is to be assembled from gray molded parts with adhesives. Paint is required except for the pre-colored flight deck. (Product Features) The product is based on the October 1944 (Operation Shoichi) appearance. The parts are specially designed to reproduce the late stage of the ship with the additional machine gun position on the bow and the No. 21 electric search device. Ship body The fleet is divided into left and right parts. The bottom and the body of the ship are divided at the waterline, and the bottom is an integral part of the left and right. The port and starboard side of the ship is sculpted delicately all around the ship. The engine air supply ports and sponson supports are sculpted in three-dimensional detail. Flight Deck Unlike the standard version, the camouflage paint, which is difficult to paint, is pre-colored. The flight deck is designed as a single piece with no joints. Elevator and wind shield are separate parts, allowing you to choose whether to raise/lower, erect/retract. The expansion joints, wooden deck, and split pattern are delicately sculpted. Outfitting The sponsons on the port side are partially made of separate parts to reproduce the modeling. The chimney is made of two pieces, upper and lower, and the lattice structure of the exhaust port is also made of separate parts to reproduce a sense of depth. The machine gun turrets at the bow and stern are in their final three-seat configuration, and are reproduced with dedicated parts. The electric probe No. 21, which is a feature after 1942, and the fuselage gun, which is a feature at the time of Operation Shoichi, are provided with dedicated parts. Carrier-borne aircraft Four types of ship-borne aircraft are included: Zero-sen Type 52, Zero-sen Type 21 (bombardment), Type 97 attack, and Tenzan. Two Zero fighters are included with each model, and one of the others are included with each model. Masking sheets are included to assist in painting the camouflage on the port side. Cut along the printed camouflage pattern outline lines and use for masking work. Scale is 1/700 and full hull specification including the bottom of the ship. Parts are assembled with glue and require painting. Only the camouflage painted flight deck is pre-colored and does not require painting.
