The second version of the pre-printed and pre-colored style with intricate camouflage patterns on the flight deck / Zuiho is now available! (Structure, Specifications and Features) The kit is assembled by using adhesives on the molded parts. Paint is required except for the pre-colored flight deck. (Product Features) The kit is based on the model of October 1944 (Operation Shoichi). The flight deck on the bow side has been extended, and the mast is equipped with a No. 13 electric probe. Body of the ship The body of the ship is divided into left and right parts. The bottom of the ship and the body are divided by the waterline, and the bottom is an integral part of the left and right sides. The bottom of the ship is an integral part of the left and right sides of the ship. The aft end of the hangar (top deck/uppermost deck), the aft cabstan, and the secondary anchor are separate parts. The backside of the sponsons on the port side and the ribs of the reinforcement structure are sculpted in three-dimensional detail. The bridge deck and aft short boat deck have linoleum flooring. The flight deck is designed as two separate parts, the first half of the extension and the second half, which are connected by an inconspicuous expansion joint. The elevator can be selected to ascend or descend, and the wind shield is made as a separate part for a more realistic shape. The expansion joints, wooden deck, and split pattern are delicately sculpted. Rigging Most of the sponsons on the port side are separate parts in order to reproduce the modeling. The chimney is made of two pieces, upper and lower, and the lattice structure of the exhaust port is also made of separate parts to reproduce a sense of depth. The auxiliary chimney is reproduced in one piece, including the base, in the “raised” position. The radio aerial pole has a separate base and prop, and can be selected to be in the “up” or “down” position. The machine gun turrets at the stern and both sides of the bow are reproduced with dedicated parts. Scale is 1/700 and full hull specification including the bottom of the ship. Parts are assembled with glue and require painting. Only the camouflage painted flight deck is pre-colored and does not require painting. On-board Aircraft Two types of aircraft are included in the kit. Includes two each of Zero fighters Type 52 and Tenzan. Masking sheets are included to assist in painting the camouflage on the port side. Cut along the printed camouflage pattern outline lines and use for masking work. Molding color of the main parts is bright green (No. 22 outer shell color) to allow for painting.
