The Imperial Navy Series “Aircraft Carrier Akagi” is now available, complete with etched parts and wooden deck decals! This full-hull kit allows you to recreate the ship down to the keel and includes a display stand so you can enjoy showing off your finished model. The 25mm twin machine guns come with both the conventional one-piece parts and more precise two-piece parts. The 25mm machine guns are a two-piece design, with the gun barrel in gunmetal and the base in the ship’s hull color, making it easy to paint them separately for accurate reproduction. □ The decals include the Hinomaru flags on the carrier-based aircraft, white lines on the deck, and the naval ensign. □ The kit features a full-hull design that reproduces the ship’s underside, and comes with a display stand so you can enjoy displaying your finished model. □ The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece parts and more detailed two-piece parts. □ The 25mm machine guns feature a two-piece design, making it easy to paint the gunmetal-colored barrel and the hull-colored base separately. □ Etched parts are included to capture even the finest details that are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts. 　The etching parts include handrails, ladders, bridge window frames, a direction-finding antenna, funnel footrests, fall prevention railings, and boat davits. □ The wooden deck decals have been surface-treated with a laser cutter to reproduce an irregular wood grain pattern. 　They are pre-cut to fit the kit’s parts and consist of two sheets. □ Etched parts are included to reproduce details on the deck. 　The etched parts include an elevator, windbreaks, arresting gear, run-stop devices, and searchlight covers. *Information current as of August 2026.
