A special edition of the Imperial Navy Series “Three-Tier Flight Deck: Kaga” that includes etched parts and wooden deck decals! This full-hull model allows you to recreate the ship down to the keel and comes with a display stand so you can enjoy showing off your finished model. The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece parts and more precise two-piece parts. The 25mm machine guns are constructed in two pieces, with the gun barrel in gunmetal and the base in the ship’s hull color, making it easy to paint them separately for accurate reproduction. □ The product is modeled after the Kaga equipped with a three-tier flight deck prior to its major refit. □ Three types of decals are included, with one sheet of each. □ The set includes the chrysanthemum crest on the bow, the waterline, the ship’s name on the stern (two versions: gold and painted in naval blue), as well as white lines on the deck, markings for the aircraft, and the naval ensign. □ Etching parts are included to capture even the finest details that are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts. 　The etched parts include bridge window frames, various supports, ladders, and handrails. □ The wooden deck decals feature a surface finish created by a laser cutter to reproduce an irregular wood grain pattern. 　They are pre-cut to match the kit’s parts, allowing you to easily and realistically recreate the intricate lines of the wooden deck?details that are difficult to achieve with paint alone. □ The etched parts included with the wooden deck decals feature the elevator, ski-stop mechanism, arresting wires, windbreak railings, and searchlight storage covers. *Information current as of September 2026.
