A special edition of the Imperial Navy Series “Imperial Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Daifuku (Wooden Deck Version)” that includes etched parts and wooden deck decals! This kit features a full-hull design that allows you to reproduce the ship’s underside, and includes a display stand so you can enjoy displaying your completed model. The lower hull is a one-piece molded part, while the propellers and rudder are separate parts. In addition to the parts included in the kit, the set includes precision machine gun parts with separate barrels and mounts for the 25mm machine guns (triple, twin, and single mounts). The Type 96 25mm machine gun consists of two pieces: the gunmetal-colored barrel and the hull-colored base, making it easy to paint them separately for accurate reproduction. □ Regarding the flight deck?for which there are various theories regarding whether it was made of latex or wood?this kit depicts it as a wooden deck. □ The decals include the Hinomaru flags on the carrier-based aircraft, white lines on the deck, and the naval ensign. □ Etching parts are included to reproduce even the finest details that are difficult to capture with injection-molded parts. □ The etched metal parts include handrails, ladders, the area around the funnel, masts, radar, direction-finding antennas, boat davits, cranes, and elevators. □ The wooden deck decals have been surface-treated with a laser cutter to reproduce an irregular wood grain pattern.
