The ship NEXT series “IJN Battleship Musashi (before refit)” is now available with etching parts! The battleship Yamato is the symbol of the Imperial Japanese Navy, equipped with the world's largest 46cm cannon. Musashi, built as the second ship, was completed in August 1942. In October, Musashi was additionally equipped with an electric probe, which was under development at the time, and was the forerunner of Musashi in the Truk Island against the Solomons, where the winds and clouds were blowing rapidly. The first Yamato and the second Musashi were lined up proudly at the port, and in June 1943, they became the flagship of the Allied Fleet and flew the general's flag. After that, in order to cope with air attacks, the secondary guns on both sides were dismounted and refitted to strengthen anti-aircraft armament, and they participated in the Battle of Mariana and the Battle of Leyte. The product is designed as a snap-fit model that does not require any adhesive. The main parts are represented by color-coded plastic parts, and some color tone parts are reproduced with realistic seals that have excellent surface tracking properties. Assembly method is all snap-fit type, and both offshore/full-hull types can be produced by splitting the parts at the waterline. The product is a specification that can reproduce two different periods. (between August - September 1942) / equipped with an electric probe, along with the Yamato at Truk Island, the Emperor Showa's visit, can reproduce the time when it became the flagship of the Combined Fleet (September 1942 - April 1944) The bridge top is white to indicate the belonging to the Combined Fleet, and is reproduced in molded color It is. The wooden deck parts are beige, unlike the black color of the Shoichi operation. The stickers included in the kit include the Emperor's flag and the General's flag, allowing you to reproduce the Emperor Showa's visit and the time when Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet Mineichi Koga was aboard the ship. Etching parts are included to reproduce details that are difficult to reproduce with injection parts. Etching parts include handrail, 21 electric searchlight, ladder, etc. Please note that colors may look different from the actual product due to monitor and image resolution issues.
