The etching parts for the Hiei from the Third Battle of Solomon Islands are back in stock! For those who are not satisfied with the finished product as it is, or for those who want to add more detail and pursue delicate expressions that cannot be achieved with plastic kits, we have also prepared etching parts. No painting required: Each part is pre-colored with molded colors, and some parts are colored using stickers. No glue required: The parts are designed to snap together, allowing for easy assembly. The product is based on the appearance of the ship from its post-modification in 1940 until the Third Battle of Solomon Islands. The distinctive bridge shape, which served as a test bed for the Yamato, is accurately reproduced in three dimensions. The curved shape of the bow reproduces the modifications made to the Hiei to improve its wave-cutting performance. The hull bottom and hull components are designed to be separated, allowing you to choose between a surface model and a full-hull model. The molded colors are gray to reproduce the Kure Naval Arsenal color of the fleet, light beige for the wooden deck, dark brown for the linoleum deck, and black for the funnel top. The decals include cut-out gun barrel waterproof cloth, military ship period, and emergency supply wood. The design allows for easy expression of detailed colors.
