Operation Sh?-1 Activated! The battleship Haruna, challenging the Combined Fleet's final decisive battle, arrives with etching parts! This product features a snap-fit design requiring no adhesive, setting it apart from conventional kits in this series. All assembly is snap-fit (excluding bonus parts for heavy users). The hull is designed with a split hull and keel section, allowing for either surface or full-hull type assembly. The color scheme utilizes pre-colored molded parts for primary color separation, while details and markings are reproduced using highly conformable real stickers. The product depicts the battleship Haruna during Operation Sh?-1, her final organized fleet engagement. A dedicated main gun turret canopy part with a curved surface structure, distinct from the Kongo and Hiei, is included. The bridge windows are reproduced with clear parts for a more realistic finish with ease. The characteristic bow and hull bottom curves of the Kongo class are differentiated from the Kongo and Hiei with dedicated Haruna parts. The hull bottom is molded in hull bottom color, while the upper hull is molded in warship gray. The display base is black and consists of four parts. The horizontal surface features a smooth finish and a textured, sculpted surface. Painting it blue allows for a reversible part design that evokes the image of waves. Included are etching parts that allow for detailed representation down to the finest elements, which are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts.
