Product is in kit form requiring assembly; 1/24 scale. No painting required: Parts are colored with molded colors for each part, and the body has a glossy texture that cannot be obtained by painting. No gluing required: parts are designed to fit together for easy assembly. The JB23 is the third generation of Jimny, an off-road four-wheel drive vehicle that has been sold for 20 years since the introduction of the first model in 1998, up to the 10th model. The straight, boxy style of the previous model was changed to a rounded shape, but the ladder frame, rigid axle suspension, and other mechanical aspects were retained from the previous generation to achieve high off-road drivability and improved on-road driving performance. The product is modeled after the last minor-changed model, the Model 10. The product is based on the special edition Land Venture of the JB23 Series 10, which went on sale in 2014. It is a later model with a thicker hood and is equipped with LV's characteristic side garnish and rear tire cover. The detailed modeling is accurately reproduced due to the unique 1/24 scale size. The body is made of specially designed molding material to reproduce a level of gloss that is difficult to achieve with paint. Molded in 8 colors: white, black, silver, gloss silver, clear smoke, clear, clear red, and clear orange. Even when assembled straight, the colored parts give the visual appearance of separate paint jobs, and even in the case of painting, the parts are divided to greatly reduce the masking work. The body is a box shape using a slide mold to reproduce the slightly rounded shape of the sides. The front, rear, and roof parts are stacked and fitted into the body parts, a standard structure for the NEXT series of cars. The hood and front sides of the thicker Type 9 and 10 are provided as separate parts. The hood intake reproduces the depth and is reproduced with separate parts. The front grille has a two-layer structure to reproduce depth, and the radiator that fits in the back is also shaped. The underbody is constructed with the ladder frame as a single part to which ancillary parts are attached. Leading arm, trading arm, front and rear differential gear cases and drive shafts are sculpted as separate parts. The headlight lenses are delicately sculpted in the same manner as the sculpture of the actual car. The headlight unit is sculpted with delicate sculptures of the main light bulbs and small light bulbs, and the back of the lenses are sculpted three-dimensionally. The driver/passenger window is designed as a separate piece of glass and frame, eliminating the need for sticker coloring and masking when painting. The adhesive part (black part) of the side/rear window is expressed on the body side, and the glass can be inserted for a realistic finish. The defogger on the rear glass is delicately sculpted. The side turn lamps and back lights are represented by clear parts. The turn lamps are fitted from the back side. The combined brake/windshield blinker lenses are non-adhesive, with the clear orange parts fitting into the brake lenses. The wiper blades are sculpted with realistic-looking ultra-fine molded parts, even the unevenness of the blade attachment points are sculpted. The instrument panel is delicately sculpted for a three-dimensional appearance. The drive selection button switch of JB23 is also accurately shaped. The side mirrors are two-layered and color-coded. Mirror surfaces are represented by attached pre-cut wheel stickers. Molded rubber tires are made from rubber resin and are made from a dedicated mold (new mold). 175/80R16 on-road tires are included. Roof bar, which is optional equipment on the actual vehicle, is included as a custom part. Adhesive type. Included stickers are pre-cut and easy to apply. Stickers include meter panel, logo, and vehicle number. Decals and metal inlets are included for the white color only.
