Plastic / Car Model Assembling Kit 1/24 Car NX17 Suzuki Jimny JB64 (XC/Kinetic Yellow) Product is a kit format that requires assembly. 1/24 scale. No painting required: Parts are colored with molded colors for each part, and the body has a glossy texture that cannot be obtained by painting. No gluing required: parts are designed to fit together for easy assembly. The JB64 is the fourth generation of the Jimny, the current model introduced in 2018. Unlike the previous JB23, which was curvilinear in shape, the new JB64 has a square body that is more reminiscent of the previous/second generation Jimny. The ladder frame, rigid-axle suspension, and other mechanical aspects were inherited from the previous generation, and the model was designed to have high off-road drivability and improved on-road driving performance. Three grades are available, XC/XL/XG from the top, in multiple monotone colors, with XC only available in two-tone black top. The products are inspired by the XC grade of the JB64W-1 model, which went on sale in 2018. The XC grade features special aluminum wheels and mirrors with turn lamps. The detailed modeling is accurately reproduced due to the unique size of the 1/24 scale. The body uses specially designed molding material to reproduce a level of gloss that is difficult to achieve with paint. Even when assembled straight, the coloring parts give the appearance of separate paint jobs, and even when painting, the parts are divided to greatly reduce the masking work. The body is a box shape using a slide mold to accurately reproduce the square style. The front, rear, roof, and other parts are stacked and fitted into the body parts in the standard structure of the NEXT series of cars. The front grille has a two-layer structure to reproduce depth. The underbody is constructed with the ladder frame as a stand-alone part to which ancillary parts are attached. Leading arm, trading arm, front and rear differential gear cases and drive shafts are sculpted as separate parts. The shape of the undercarriage is based on the 4AT model. The headlights are LED type, which are only available on the XC, and are exclusively designed as parts for this model. (The headlight washers have been omitted due to mold reasons.) Side mirrors are reproduced in the shape of XC only turn light embedded type. The driver/passenger window is designed as a separate piece of glass and frame, eliminating the need for sticker coloring and masking when painting. The rear window (side/rear) is exclusively molded in smoke color to express the color difference from the front side. The steering wheel and instrument panel are shaped to reproduce the characteristics of the XC. The seat is a two-piece structure to reproduce the shape of both seat side and back, and the rear seat headrests are reproduced in a lowered position. The aluminum wheels, exclusive to the XC grade, are realistically reproduced in gun metallic molding color. The stickers included in the kit are pre-cut and easy to apply. Stickers include the meter panel, logo, and vehicle number. Please note that colors may look different from the actual product due to monitor and image resolution issues.
