The distinctive metallic color is reproduced using a special coating! Silver Metallic has been added to the lineup for the “3rd Generation Alphard / 30 Series Early Model”! The body’s Silver Metallic finish is pre-painted with a special paint to reproduce its unique metallic sheen. The “ALPHARD” and “V6” badges on the rear hatch are reproduced with pre-printed decals. Highly conformable decals are included to easily reproduce color differences in fine details such as window frames, emblems, and roof moldings. The large chrome grille is finished with resin plating, just like the real car. The black shadow areas on the window glass can be reproduced simply by applying the included window film. The set includes window film that can also be used as “pre-cut masking tape for painting.” The product is based on the early-model 3rd-generation 30 Series, specifically the 3.5-liter GF grade. This is the standard body style, commonly known as the “G・X face,” which does not feature an aero kit. The 1/24 scale allows for the precise reproduction of fine texturing and body contours. The body features a design where some panels are inserted into a basic one-piece molded base. The recessed panel lines on the one-piece sections are deep enough to accommodate painting. The distinctive front fascia and chrome-finished parts are all separate components, eliminating the need for basic masking work. The black-finished bumper (license plate mounting area) and left/right grilles are individual parts. The area around the front grille features a multi-layered structure that recreates depth through stacked assembly. The interior features a one-piece molded tub-shaped part, along with the seat backs and instrument panel parts, achieving maximum sculptural detail with a minimal number of parts. The window parts are designed in separate sections for the front, sides, roof, and rear; the front section is a clear molded part, while the rear section is a smoked-colored molded part. The instruction manual includes a full-scale template to assist with masking the black areas around the windows. The rear bumper is a dedicated part featuring the horizontal reflectors unique to the G and X models, and is a separate part from the body. The reflectors are separate parts designed to be snapped into place from the underside of the body. The rear chrome garnish is a separate part for easy painting and is secured by press-fit, so there is no need to worry about smudging from excess adhesive.
