A snap-together kit recreating the 2018 Jimny XC (Chiffon Ivory Metallic)! This product is based on the XC grade of the JB64W-1 model, which went on sale in 2018. The XC grade is characterized by its exclusive aluminum wheels and mirrors with turn signals. The 1/24 scale allows for precise reproduction of intricate details. Even with straight assembly, the pre-colored parts create a look as if they were painted; when painting, the part division significantly reduces masking work. The body utilizes a specialized molding material to achieve a level of gloss that is difficult to replicate with paint alone. The body features a box-shaped design created using a slide mold, accurately capturing the square styling. It employs the standard “Car NEXT” series construction, where the hood, rear, roof, and other parts are layered and snapped into the body. Recessed moldings, such as those on the door panels, are rendered with a defined depth to accommodate paint washing. The undercarriage features a ladder frame as a separate part, with ancillary components attached to it. The leading arms, trailing arms, front and rear differential gear cases, and driveshafts are rendered in 3D as separate parts. The suspension configuration is modeled after a 4-speed automatic transmission vehicle. The headlights use dedicated parts to replicate the LED light design exclusive to the XC model. The side mirrors reproduce the XC-exclusive design with integrated turn signals. The driver’s and passenger’s side windows feature a separate design for the glass and frame, eliminating the need for decals or masking during painting. The rear windows (side and rear) are molded in a dedicated smoked color to highlight the color contrast with the front windows. The wiper arms and blades are molded with a delicate thinness that captures the look of the real thing, and the concave shape of the blade surface is rendered with fine detailing. The steering wheel and instrument panel are custom parts that capture the distinctive features of the XC. The seats feature a two-piece construction to accurately reproduce the shapes of both the seat cushion and backrest; the rear seat headrests are depicted in the lowered position. Features aluminum wheels exclusive to the XC grade, realistically reproduced in a gunmetal-colored finish. The tires are molded from rubber-like resin using a dedicated mold; 175/80R16 on-road tires are included. Included decals allow for detailed color reproduction; they are pre-cut for easy application. The decals include the instrument panel, logos, and vehicle registration number. The spare tire on the rear is made of the same rubber material as the four main tires. The rear lights are created by layering clear red and clear molded parts to reproduce two-tone light lenses. The lights feature finely sculpted details, including the curved surfaces of the reflectors and the bulbs. The molded colors consist of seven types: ivory, black, silver, gunmetal, clear smoke, clear, and clear red. Assembled Dimensions: (Approx.)
